Long, long, long story short: Dreher lost his partner and best friend to the zombies and so did Henry, so after ending up on the road together with a few other survivors, they kind of end up gravitating toward each other out of loneliness. But they're completely incompatible in every way and they know it can never replace their lost loved ones, so it only leads to more hurt for them both.

Someone make me stop drawing pictures with low lighting and mostly black that look terrible when the internets fuck up the colors *headdesk*
